California native plants may be used in virtually all garden designs and situations, and support native birds and insects.
Once established, and with an appropriate layer of mulch, many natives need little or no watering.

Which native plants would work for you?  The California Native Plant Society’s website has plant pictures and descriptions, landscaping information (climate, sun, soil, moisture, watering), wildlife supported, and nurseries where they are available.
